summary: fun as fuck. fav waterfall(s) hike and hands down the most fun hike i've done. i felt like indiana jones

did i mention that this hike is fun asf??? getting to the two waterfalls was an absolute adventure. getting down is steep and there are ropes in place to help you descend.

there trail entrance is pretty hidden - when you walk up the mountain road - look for a stick on the right.

i spent like a good ... hour?? looking for the entrance and at one point i was like a good ~2 miles beyond it lmao

in the "expanded" gallery, i include pictures of some ropes that were in place

like a good fifth of the trail are ropes - but not necessarily as steep as the one shown here

there's a ton of old abandoned industrial stuff here - like idk what it's for but there are tunnels and stuff. 21st century indiana jones vibes xd

to get to the second waterfall shown in the gallery (i think it's memealoose??) - you have to go along the creek-bank. there's no trail for it. the huge buttercup bloom was a nice touch (:

also theres these two rotting logs that allow you to get into some sketchy boogeyman cave. besides getting eaten by the boogeyman, i don't recommend people to cross it because there's nothing to hold onto and the drop is STEEP

there are some caves with bats in them...with signs recommending people to not go in cuz you'll disturb the bats and they'll bite then boom u got a new strain of rona
